Charlotte's Web Inspired Clip Art

I've been kind of quiet lately because I have a few things in the works. Tonight I just finished one of them. I am pleased to introduce to you my set of Charlotte's Web inspired clipart!

This download contains 24 of my hand-drawn and painted images, inspired by the classic children's book, Charlotte's Web. 12 of the images are in color and the other 12 are black and white outlines, which can be used to create coloring sheets for your students. All of the images are high-quality (300 ppi) PNG files with transparent backgrounds so that the images can be resized, layered, and reoriented with ease.

Included are color and black and white versions of:

Wilbur
Charlotte
Fern
Avery
Mr. Zuckerman
Lurvy
The goose
The gander
Templeton
The sheep and the lamb (1 image)
The barn door frame with Charlotte's web
A manure pile

Please note: these images are licensed for personal and classroom use only - they are not to be resold or used in worksheets or units being sold online or in tangible form.

Like them? Want them? You can buy the set here, at my TPT store. (Psst: If you wait until Nov. 28-29, they will be 20% off). ;)

Tutoring Questionnaires and Contract

Hello Friends,

I just wanted to let you know about a new product for anyone who does tutoring, downloadable here in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.

If you tutor, you want to make a contract to cover yourself legally, and you will want some forms for your prospective tutees and their families to fill out. These forms will give you valuable information to set goals and expectations for your tutoring sessions. I use these forms myself, and I hope that you will find them helpful. Enjoy!

New Font: Sunday Morning Grace {Free Download!}

Sometimes I find myself working on a project that needs a special font. However, finding one that fits the bill AND is licensed for commercial use is a real buzz kill. That's why I love the iFontMaker app. In about 20 minutes I can have a new font up and running with very minimal effort. If you don't have this app, but you are a font-aholic, check it out in the app store. You won't be disappointed.

Anyway, here is the font that I came up with for the project I was working on. Warning: It's very girly and curly and cute.

The ampersand has a curlicue! Gah!

You can download this font (and hundreds more) for free here. All of my fonts are public domain {aka commercial use ok}, but not all of them in the gallery are. Please make sure you read the license info on each one and respect the creator's wishes.

So here's the latest thing that I've been working on. It's rainbow clipart! I know you need some of this in your life!

This set contains 68 individual files and an instruction/idea booklet. It is not a font. The files are saved as .gif with transparent backgrounds for easy document and website use. These are high-quality images that can be easily resized in a Word or PowerPoint document.

Included are the letters A-Z, both uppercase and lowercase, the numbers 0-9, a period, comma, exclamation point, question mark, pound sign (hashtag) and dollar sign.

What can you make with these images?
*Make your newsletters pop with an accent of color!
*Print, cut out, and laminate large letters for bulletin boards!
*Print small classroom labels!
*Make a rainbow alphabet poster!
*Use them in your PowerPoint presentations!
*Make your students oooh and ahhh at your mad rainbow-colored skills!

The font used is “Poppins” by Indian Type Foundry; commercial license applied.

Please check out my TPT store for this awesome set and other coordinating products to make your classroom all matchy-matchy!

Tes Teach with Blendspace

I'm trying out a new multimedia presentation tool called "Tes Teach with Blendspace." It's new and a little buggy, but I see great potential in it! You can upload pictures or files, add videos or links, and then organize all of these components into a single presentation, lesson, or unit. You can even add teaching notes and student quizzes for your students to take individually. Check out the Squishy Circuit lesson plan I made by clicking here.

Electrifying!

Those of you who hang around this blog know I'm a bit of a geek. I like math, science, gaming, and all sorts of nerdy things. Today I am posting about electricity. Check out this amazing video of electricity finding the path of least resistance on a piece of wood, from My Science Academy on Facebook.

Look at all of those fractal designs!

The Perfect "Carschooling" Desk

If you're a homeschooling parent, you know that carting your kids around to enrichment and extracurricular activities is part of the homeschool life. However, all that drive time can really cut into your school day. It would be great if we could redeem that time. If only there was a way to take basic supplies and a nice writing space with you on your journeys...

Huh, it looks like there is such a creature!

I stumbled across this little desk while searching Amazon for a pencil case. It's the perfect size for doing school work in the car! While you will not be able to store your entire classroom setup, you can store basic items just fine within it. I was able to fit a nice stack of lined paper, pencils, a pencil sharpener and a small set of crayons in it. Best of all? it fits very nicely over the handles of our Graco booster seat!

It is sturdy and well-built. It folds flat when not in use. Little Love has dropped it more than once and it continues to function unscathed.

You can order the Perfect Carschooling Desk on Amazon.  What's your favorite way to do school work in the car?

Biblical Friendship Printable Poster - Boy Version

A few weeks ago, I made a printable poster about friendship for girls. One of the Facebook groups I'm in asked for a boy version. So here it is - the Biblical friendship poster for boys!

I would greatly appreciate it if you would download it from my Teachers Pay Teachers store (it's free) and leave me some star feedback on that site. My store is new, and I can use all the love I can get! :)

Knit Ruffle Baby Hat

If you read my blog, you will know I love to knit. I taught myself how to knit years ago, and I haven't stopped since. Today I would like to share with you an adorable toddler hat that I made a few years ago.

This hat is not for sale; I made it for my daughter. But isn't it adorable?

So here's the scoop. The pattern is written by Russell Lehrer, and you can find it here on his blog or here on Ravelry.

Although my version of the hat wound up being more for a toddler than a baby, it still turned out to be very lovely. It was a very quick knit. My favorite part? The cute flower you see from the top down...

Gah. I can't even. It's too adorable.

An Adult Coloring Book JUST. FOR. TEACHERS.

Today I will introduce you to part two of my new TPT store. I've worked hard on this PDF for several months, and it originally was intended as an end-of-the-year present for a teacher friend. Since I had time to only work on it in bits and snippets, many of my other friends saw it at various points in its creation. Most commented that I should sell it. So here it is: an adult coloring book created specifically for professional educators!

This coloring book is 23 pages of teacher-humor cleverly disguised in cartoon outlines, hand drawn by Yours Truly. It's stress relief in it's finest form: zen-meditative coloring meets side-cramp LOL fun!

It's perfect for:
- Principals (Welcome Back to School, Staff! Sorry About the Three Extra In-Service Days!)- Parents (Thanks, Teacher, for Putting Up With My Little Hooligan All Year!)- Teacher Appreciation Week (We Don't Know What to Get You Because You Already Have 50,000 Mugs!)

I currently only have it for sale in DIGITAL format (no hard copies). You can purchase it from two places:
If you have no preference between TPT and Etsy, please purchase it from TPT and leave me some feedback. I need some star love on that website!

Here are some watermarked screenshots of what you can expect when you purchase the coloring book. There are also many pages of tomfoolery not included in these previews that you will enjoy when you download the entire book!

All original drawings in this coloring book and blog post are copywrited by Echoes of Stars Designs, LLC. Please do not copy, sell, or edit them without permission.

New Teachers Pay Teachers Store!

I'm happy to announce the launch of my new Teachers Pay Teachers store! Right now I only have two offerings available, but I will add more that I have made over the years both as a classroom teacher and homeschooling mom. For now, let me introduce you to the two items that currently being offered.  Today we will start with a freebie! Huzzah!

It is a FREE printable poster about friendship!

You can download this poster for FREE at my TPT store. The only thing I ask is that you please leave a rating. I'm a new seller on TPT, so I need some stars to get me started!

I created this poster to help teach my daughter about friendships. Maintaining uplifting friendships can be tricky for all students, but for young ladies especially. This printable poster lists the qualities of a good friend, with pertinent Scripture verses referenced for further study. You can use this poster as a springboard for a unit on friendship or simply place it in your classroom or homeschool as a visual reminder of how godly friends should act.

Tomorrow I will introduce you to the second offering in my TPT store. It is much more fun, and it is specifically created for classroom teachers!
